As many as nine people lost their lives in two different road accidents in Balochistan and Punjab, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
In the first road tragedy, a truck rammed into a passenger coach in Qila Saifullah last night. The head-on collision resulted in the death of seven passengers including women. While 25 others got hurt in the dreadful crash.
All the bodies and injured were shifted to different hospitals in Qila Saifullah and Quetta.
In another accident, a speeding jeep turned turtle in Tala Gang, killing 2 little girls of a same family. Five other riders of the jeep also sustained serious injuries.
Rescue officials said that the dead and injured were shifted to the DHQ Hospital. They further said that four women, children and a man were travelling in the jeep.
The dead included 5-year-old Rida and 8-year-old Alisha.
The jeep was going to Islamabad from Lahore.
The accident occurred on M-2 near Bhatti Gujjar.
