A court in Lahore on Tuesday issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Chaudhry Moonis Elahi, a former federal minister and son of former Punjab chief minister and PTI President Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, in a forgery case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In his application filed in the court of judicial magistrate Imran Abid, the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE), Punjab, while seeking the suspect’s warrants, said that a case had been registered against him under sections 420, 471, 467, 674, 109 and 468.

It was further stated in the petition that since Moonis had not been cooperating with the Establishment and was hiding, therefore, the court was requested to issue his arrest warrants.
