Australian cricket skipper Pat Cummins has grabbed the ICC men's Player of the Month award for December following Pakistan's clean-sweep, reported the 24NewsHd TV channel.
Australia captain Pat Cummins was amongst three players to be nominated for the ICC Player of the Month award for December.
Along with Cummins, New Zealand’s Glenn Phillips and Bangladesh’s Taijul Islam had also been nominated.
However, Pat Cummins has been declared winner of the title.
Cummins ended 2023 in great fashion, guiding his side to a clean sweep over Pakistan in a three-match home Test series, having won the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in November.
Hosting Pakistan for an exciting Test series, Cummins made a significant impact from the opening match onwards.
