SHC sends 46 names to Judicial Commission for appointment of 12 additional judges

Sindh High Court Chief Justice has sent 46 names to the Judicial Commission of Pakistan for appointment of 12 additional judges on vacant posts across the province. Out of 46 names, 6 are district and sessions judges while the remaining 40 names are lawyers, reported 24NewsHDTV channel. 

Sindh High Court has sent the list to Judicial Commission of Pakistan which is going to meet on January 23, 2025 to finalize the appointments. District and Session Judges include Suresh Kumar, Khalid Hussain Shahani and Mushtaq Ahmed Leghari while Tasnim Sultana, Manoor Sultan and Ameer Ali Mehseer are also included in 6 additional and session judges.

The other names include Ali Hyder Ada, Nisar Ahmed Bhambro, Riazat Ali Sahir, Miran Muhammad Shah, Raja Jawad Ali, Obaidur Rehman, Rafiq Ahmed Kalwar, Umaima Anwar Khan, Muhammad Usman Ali Hadi, Muhammad Umar Lakhani, Mansoor Ali Ghangro, Zeeshan Abdullah, Muhammad Jafar Raza, Zulfikar Ali Solangi, Haq Nawaz Talpur, Abdul Hamid Bhargari, Dr. Syed Fayyazul Hasan Shah, Mohsin Qadir Shahwani, Qazi Bashir, Sandeep Malani, Muhammad Hasan Akbar, Syed Ahmed Shah, Imdad Ali, Chaudhry Atif Rafiq, Muhammad Jamshed Malik, Irfan Mir Hilputa, Jan Ali Junejo, Wali Muhammad Khoso, Fayaz Ahmed Saomro, Altaf Hussain, Ghulam Mohiuddin, Rashid Mustafa, Arshad Zahid Alvi, Syed Tariq Ahmad Shah, Sagheer Ahmad Abbasi, Wazir Hussain Khoso, Prakash Kumar, Muhammad Zeeshan, Rehan Aziz and Shazia Hanjara.
