In one of the biggest heists in Pakistan, four armed robbers looted Rs32 million from the money changers in Singao Katling area of Mardan and drove off with the booty in the car they also snatched from the poor money dealers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to police, four armed robbers in the vicinity of Baizai police station intercepted a car in which some money dealers were traveling.
The money changers were going to Buner after collecting more than Rs32 million from Peshawar and other areas. The armed dacoits intercepted their car at gunpoint and got into their vehicle. They beat up the dealers and left them in a deserted place. Then they fled away in the same car.
Police have registered the case and started an investigation.
