Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi reiterated that the country could not function without abolishing National Accountability Bureau (NAB), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
While talking to media after appearing in an accountability court in Karachi, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the assets of former NAB chairman (Javed Iqbal) should also be checked.
“The NAB chairman will be asked what did he do in four years?” Abbasi said, adding that it would take time to improve affairs in the country.
He also said that the government did not take U-turn on loadshedding, adding that power loadshedding would be reduced to three hours after June 15.
“We did not have coal, oil and gas,” Abbasi said, stating that the situation would improve in a few days but loadshedding would not end completely.
