The government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to call the National Assembly (NA) Session for voting on the opposition’s No-Confidence Motion early.
The government has also set a strategy to stop its members that could be involved in the floor-crossing to cast their vote under Article 63A of the Constitution of Pakistan.
According to sources, an important meeting was held at the Speaker's House on Wednesday in which the strategies to deal with the no-confidence motion were discussed in detail.
The sources said the meeting was attended by the federal ministers.
As per the planning of the government, on the day of voting on the no-confidence motion, only one member of the government will be present in the House to avoid any kind of cheating or horse-trading from treasury members.
In the meeting, this is decided that the government members will be instructed not to attend the meeting on the day of voting and the ‘Party Dissidents‘ will not be allowed to vote under Article 63A.
Imran Khan as Chairman of the ruling party-the PTI will also write a letter to Speaker Asad Qaiser on the day of voting regarding the reference against his the ‘Dissidents’ coming to House on the day of voting.
