Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) Wednesday excused itself from meeting the prime minister, reported 24NewsHd TV channel.

BAP has five members in the national assembly and is part of the government coalition.

According to sources, the prime minister had invited the BAP members tonight for a meeting in wake of the no-confidence motion moved by the opposition.

However, the BAP excused itself from the meeting citing the absence of their parliamentary leader Khalid Magsi in Islamabad.

BAP members said some of their members were currently not in Islamabad and they will hold a meeting with the PM upon their arrival in the Capital city.

Sources say the BAP is still holding consultations regarding the emerging political situation in the country.

BAP is also facing another rift among its ranks after removing Jam Kamal as Balochistan CM as Jam Kamal is again active to bring a no-confidence motion against new Balochistan CM Abdul Qadoos Bazinjo.

Bazinjo has also reached Islamabad and held a meeting with Senate chairman Sadiq Sanjrani to discuss the matters related to Balochistan politics.
