PIA special plane brings back 232 Pakistanis stuck in Ukraine

Pakistan International Airlines special plane carrying 232 Pakistanis stuck in Ukraine landed safely in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The PIA special plane PK7788 took off for Poland’s capital Warsaw in the wee hours of Tuesday on the special directives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the government of Pakistan and returned carrying the passengers at Tuesday’s midnight.

There were emotional scenes on the Islamabad Airport as many passengers burst into tears of joy upon their return to their homeland and shouted slogans of ‘Long Live Pakistan’ and ‘Long Live PIA’.

PIA and Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials were present at the airport to receive the passengers.
