Punjab Excise dept launches vehicles’ registration, transfer awareness campaign

Punjab Excise and Taxation Department has launched showroom contact campaign for awareness of registration and transfer of vehicles after purchase, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

In this regard, the department constituted 15 excise teams which will give awareness at as many as 4521 showrooms.

Director Excise and Taxation Chaudhry Asif said in this regard that when buying a new car, get it registered immediately.

He said the ownership of the used vehicle should be transferred within 30 days.

Ownership transfer facility is available online for the citizens and showroom owners, said director Excise.
