Popular folk and Sufi singer Sanam Marvi on Saturday rejected the reports about her third marriage as baseless.

There are many other issues in life as well therefore there is no question of third marriage right now, she said in a video message. She said she would formally share any such news with her fans. She also appealed to the family of her former husband Hamid Ali to take pity on her and let her live.

Sanam Marvi had moved the court recently to get divorce from her second husband Hamid Ali, saying that he had been subjecting her to domestic abuse for 11 years. She has three children from Hamid Ali. Her first husband Aftab Ahmad was murdered in Karachi in 2009.
