Three PIA flights to bring back stranded Pakistanis from US

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Sayed Zulfi Bukhari on Saturday sharing a good news for US-based Pakistani nationals announced that three flights specially sanctioned by Prime Minister Imran Khan scheduled for the US within next few days.

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA)’s first flight will depart Washington to Islamabad on May 11, to Lahore on May 14 and to Karachi International Airport on May 18 while a US chartered flight from Washington DC to Lahore on May 12.

Earlier, Foreign Office spokesperson Ayesha Farooqui said “More than 60,000 Pakistanis want to return from UAE, and another 15,000 from Saudi Arabia and passengers were required to spend three days in quarantine on returning to Pakistan.

Meanwhile, another PIA special flight brought back 64 Pakistani nationals from German city of Frankfurt to Islamabad.
