Pakistan Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Sunday urged the OIC to act against growing Islamophobia in different parts of the world.
According to 24NewsHD TV, PM Imran Khan held a special meeting with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary-General Dr. Yousuf bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen in Makkah and urged him to use the platform against the growing incidents related to Islamophobia in the world.
Highlighting different issues related to the Muslim community globally, Imran Khan said the Muslim leadership must work together to ensure the world acknowledges their feelings towards Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). He said no one should be allowed to link Islam to terrorism.
He raised Pakistan’s voice for Palestine, emphasizing that the OIC and other countries of the world must protect Palestinians against Israeli oppression. He strongly condemned the Israeli attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque.
