The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Lahore, on Monday demanded the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) officials not carry load shedding in examination centres during the commencement of matriculation exams, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The examination centres should be exempted from load shedding for the convenience of candidates, board officials said.
The board officials said that load shedding in summer could make it difficult for candidates to solve their papers.
The annual matriculation exams under nine education boards across Punjab including Lahore are starting from Tuesday.
