The police have arrested a dacoit while two of his accomplices successfully fled after an encounter that took place at Rajwah Pul near Khairpur Joso area of Qambar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Monday.

As per details, when police confronted three persons at Rajwah Pul near Khairpur Joso area who were there to attempt a dacoity they opened fire on the police.

After a brief fire exchange, one dacoit got injured and was arrested by the police while two others fled.

The police have identified the arrested dacoit as Zameer Hussain Wagan and have shifted him to the hospital for treatment.

The police have also recovered a 30 bore pistol and six bullets from the possession of the arrested dacoit. The police have registered dacoity and illegal weapon cases against the arrested dacoit in the City police station.
