The US dollar on the opening day of the business week thrashed the Pakistani rupee as it reached Rs187.53 from Rs185.63 with an increase of 90 paisas against the Pakistani currency, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
At one stage, the US dollar gained Rs1.27 but later ended the day with a gain of 90 paisas. Forex dealers said that the US dollar has now crossed the psychological mark of Rs187 and inches towards Rs188.
The previous week's close was Rs186.63 and the US dollar gained 94 paisas against Pakistan Rupee in comparison to Thursday's closing which was Rs185.69.
