Aamir Liaquat video leak: YouTuber Yasir Shami gets bail

A Karachi court has granted bail to YouTuber Yasir Shami in Dr Aamir Liaquat's video leak case.

The court ordered Yasir to appear before the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to record his statement and to submit Rs500,000 surety bonds.

The court issued arrest warrants for the Youtuber as he defied repeated summons.

Dania Shah, the prime accused of leaking Amir Liaquat’s videos, also showed up at the court. She has been on bail.

She has been on bail. Witnesses too recorded their statements.

His last days were difficult and he lost his life in a very tragic way as he was struggling emotionally. Aamir Liaquat’s death started a series of legal cases for his children as his third wife Dania Shah kept popping up though allegedly the couple had divorced. Dania Shah filed a case against Aamir’s family to get his body exhumed and sent for post-mortem.

She later on also wanted to get her alleged share of his inheritance and also went to jail for leaking his private videos, the incident that emotionally broke Aamir Liaquat.

The TV celeb lost his life at 50 in 2020.
