Crackdown against agents outside passport offices across Punjab launched

Under the direction of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Director General (DG) Passport Mustafa Jamal Qazi has ordered crackdown against agents outside passport offices across Punjab, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to report, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot and Sahiwal passport in-charge on the instructions of DG Passport Mustafa Jamal Qazi launched crackdown against agent mafia and registered FIR against many.
Outside the Garden Town Passport Office, Zonal Head Central Punjab Khalid Abbas said that actions are being taken against the agents on the instructions of DG Passport.
He said DG Passport instructed that under no circumstances should the agent be outside the office.
In this regard, DG Passport said that we are trying day and night to provide the best facilities to the people.
Garden Town passport office is now working in three shifts on which the people have got great convenience, said Khalid Abbas.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and DG Passport Mustafa Jamal Qazi are working day and night for the provision of passports to the citizens, said Zonal Head Central Punjab.
