Marriyum terms PM’s visit to Egypt very successful

Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Egypt was very successful.

“The COP 27 conference on the devastating effects of climate change was particularly fruitful for Pakistan,” she maintained.

“For the first time, losses and disasters were recognised as a cause of increased financial pressure on developing countries,” she added.

“For the first time, there is a global consensus on providing financial resources to compensate the losses of developing countries,” she stated.

“On the one side, there is a person who has been busy serving the country and the people ever since he came to power,” she commended the prime minister.

“On the other side, there is a person who, ever since he entered politics, has been engaged in destruction, chaos and distraction,” she castigated former premier Imran Khan.
