Against the international market’s trend, the Pakistani jewellers’ bazaar witnessed a big increase in gold prices on Wednesday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the price of 24 karats of pure gold increased by Rs 200 per tola to Rs214,200 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of 24 karats of yellow metal also increased by Rs172 to Rs183642 per ten grams in the local market.
As per the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, 10 grams of 22 karats of gold were traded at the rate of Rs168,338.
It is worth noting that in the international market, the prices were not changed and traded at the price of US$1988 per ounce on Wednesday.
The prices of 24 karats of pure silver remained unchanged and traded at Rs2,580 per tola and Rs2211.93 per 10 grams.
