National Democratic Movement Central President and former MNA Mohsin Dawar was taken into custody for a brief period in Quetta and then was sent back to Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Mohsin Dawar was taken into custody from Quetta Airport by the security personnel and then put on a flight back to Islamabad.
Dawar was due to participate in a sit-in protest in Chaman
In a letter addressed to Dawar by the Quetta deputy commissioner, it was said that as per the SSP (operations), the former MNA had reached Quetta and that it had been learnt there existed a security threat. Dawar was then advised against holding any political gathering in Quetta and told to leave the city at the earliest.
