Tragic traffic accident claims 7 lives of rickshaw-pulling family in Lodhran

In a devastating incident in Lodhran, a rickshaw-pulling family was struck by a trawler, resulting in the loss of seven lives, reported 24News HD TV Channel on Thursday.
The accident, attributed to the negligence and speeding of the trawler driver, has also left one of the four injured individuals in critical condition.
The affected family, residents of Shujaabad, was en route to attend a wedding in Bahawalpur when the tragic incident occurred.
The deceased victims include one-year-old Maskan Bibi, 8-year-old Noor Fatima, 36-year-old Allah Dutta, 45-year-old Chand Iqbal, 45-year-old Sakina Bibi, and Fida Hussain.
Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has promptly called for a comprehensive report from Commissioner Multan Division and RPO Lodhran on the loss of precious lives. The CM has also instructed legal action against the driver responsible for the accident.
Expressing deep regret over the incident, CM Naqvi conveyed heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the grieving families and assured the provision of the best possible treatment facilities for the injured.
