The National Highways and Motorways Police (NH&MP) on Friday closed the M4 Motorway from Pindi Bhattian to Abdul Hakeem due to fog and smog.
An NH&MP spokesperson said the motorway has been closed for the safety of citizens. He said that people should travel during day time to avoid any inconvenience due to fog and smog. He said that 10am to 6pm is the best time for travelling on the motorways and highways.
He said that people travelling by motorways and highways should keep fog lights on during their journey. He said that people should call the helpline 130 in case of any emergency.
