National Accountability Bureau (NAB) DG Zahir Shah has been appointed Deputy Chairman NAB, reported 24News HD TV channel on Friday. 

According to sources, Zahir Shah has been appointed as Deputy Chairman NAB after the final approval of the President. The NAB had sent a summary to the Law Ministry for the appointment of Zahir Shah as Deputy Chairman. 

The sources said the Ministry of Law and Justice will issue notification of the appointment of Zahir Shah as Deputy Chairman NAB tomorrow

Zahir Shah had been serving as DG Operations at NAB headquarters. The deputy chairman's seat fell vacant on October 4 due to the resignation of Hussain Asghar.
