Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon held a news conference on Sunday in which he told the media that the relief activities of the Sindh government are going on in flood-affected areas and ration bags were provided to 31,180 more families during the last 24 hours, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the report of last 24 hours, more 20,593 tents, 12,000 tarpaulins, 81,521 mosquito nets, 800 cattle mosquito nets and other goods have been distributed among the flood victims and ration bags have been distributed to a total of 145,2551 families, highlighted Sindh Information Minister in news conference.
So far 527,708 tents, 535,205 plastic tarpaulins, 310,5543 mosquito nets, 799,123 liters of mineral water, 68,837 jerry cans, 27,716 cattle mosquito nets, 114,853 cooked food pots and other items have been provided to the victims.
He added that there are already 344,797 victims in relief camps. 85,451 women and 110,636 children were among them.
He then discussed the present water conditions at several barrages, noting that the inflow and outflow of water at the Guddu Barrage were both measured at 57200 cubic seconds. The Sukkur barrage's inflow of water is 45500 cusecs, while its outflow is 33600 cusecs on the other side.
At the Kotri Barrage, the water inflow is 86800 cusecs, while the outflow is 57500 cusecs.
