Rain likely in Punjab and uppers parts

The weather in various plain areas across the country will remain hot and humid while downpour accompanied by strong winds is likely in areas of Punjab and upper areas including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Gilgit Baltistan, Potohar region, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.

According to the Met Department’s forecast for Tuesday, Kashmir, Potohar and the adjacent areas are expected to receive downpours accompanied by strong winds. The Met department stated that some areas of Punjab might get showered over.

The met department predicted that the weather in KPK will remain dry. However, in some areas of KPK including Dir, Swat, Malakand Abbottabad, Mansehra and Waziristan, rain is likely.

On Tuesday, the weather in Punjab will remain dry while a few areas including Narowal, Sialkot, Kasur and their suburbs might experience rainfall.

The weather in Balochistan and Sindh is expected to remain hot and dry on Tuesday while the coastal areas and Gilgit Baltistan are expected to receive light rain showers with cloudy weather.
