There were long queues of vehicles on the Indus Highway as women in Karak, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Sunday lost their temper and blocked the highway for all kinds of traffic to register their protest against gas and electricity loadshedding in the city, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The protestors said that the winter season had not begun yet, but still, there was gas loadshedding in their area.
They threatened that they would continue to block the road as long as their demands were not met.
The protestors complained that despite the fact that their district contributed to the country’s economy, still they were deprived of facilities.
