A son namely Jahangir killed his mother by hitting her with rods and bricks in Rang Shah Village 15 EB in Arifwala, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The man infuriated after his mother rejected his marriage with a girl of his choice.
District Police Officer (DPO) Pakpattan along with a police team reached the crime scene and arrested the accused.
The police after registering a case of murder against the accused started investigation.
The DPO further said that the accused will be punished as per law.
