Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced the schedule for a fresh wave of protests across major cities in Punjab, with plans to extend the demonstrations to Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to sources, the party leadership has issued crucial instructions to its senior members in preparation for the upcoming protests.
As part of their ongoing efforts to pressure the incumbent government, PTI has decided to hold protests in several key cities throughout the second week of October.
According to the newly released schedule, the first protests will take place on October 11 in Multan and Sahiwal, followed by demonstrations in Gujranwala and Sargodha on October 12.
The protest wave will then move to Dera Ghazi Khan on October 13, before culminating in large rallies in Lahore and Faisalabad on October 14.
PTI leadership has issued key instructions to its senior members to ensure that the demonstrations are well-organized and effective.
These protests are part of a broader strategy to maintain pressure on the government, with the ultimate goal of building momentum ahead of the upcoming amendments plans in the constitution.
According to inside sources, following the completion of the protests in Punjab, PTI is expected to issue a call for a major protest in Islamabad.
The final decision regarding the Islamabad protest will be made by the party's political committee, which will determine the timing and scope of the capital demonstration.
