Amid security situation and threat alerts, District Administration in Khyber has imposed Section 144 for a period of one month, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Deputy Commissioner Khyber Captain (r) Sanaullah Khan has issued a notification. According to an announcement, there will be a complete ban on illegal assembly across the district, ban on gathering of more than five people together.
Under Section 144, the display of arms has also been banned. Section 144 will be enforced from October 9, which will remain in force for 30 days till November 7, the statement said.
Violation will be prosecuted under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code. A letter has been issued to District Police Chief Khyber and all Assistant Commissioners for necessary action.
