The inter-bank exchange rate of US dollar again surged by 10 paisas and closed the session at Rs166.53 on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In inter-bank trading, the US dollar after gaining 10 paisas reached Rs 166.53 from Rs166.43, the TV channel reported.
On Tuesday the US dollar surged by 56-paisa in the currency market as its inter-bank rate climbed to Rs166.43. While on Monday, at the closing time of inter-bank trading, the dollar was available for Rs165.87 with an 11-paisa gain.
