A court in Lahore on Thursday rejected the petition, seeking registration of a case against TikToker Ayesha Akram Beg and her friend, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Additional Sessions Judge Ijaz Gondal heard the petition.

In the petition filed by Mian Tauseef Ahmad, a citizen, he told the court that he had approached Shahdara police station for registration of a case against both Ayesha and her friend Rambo. “But despite my complaint, the SHO concerned has not lodged a case as yet,” the petition reads, adding that both the TikToker and her friend had gone to Greater Iqbal Park on the day of molestation, on August 14 (Independence Day), with a ‘plan’.

“Ayesha is herself to blame for the incident since she had invited hundreds of youth gathered at the park to ‘molest’ her,” the petitioner said and had prayed to the court to order the SHO to register the case.

Ayesha Akram Beg had gone to Greater Iqbal Park along with her friend Rambo on August 14 apparently to make a TikTok video in connection with the country’s 74the Independence Day celebrations.

But their presence invited trouble as hundreds of men, mostly youth, pounced upon her, lifted her on their arms, tossed her in the air and did immoral acts with her for hours, and the police remained a mute spectator.
