In what appears to be criminal negligence on the part of the KPK government in Bannu where authorities failed to conduct the coronavirus tests of the family of a Tableeghi Jamaat member who had tested positive three days ago.

The neighbouring area, the five surrounding streets to be precise, was sealed by the authorities as soon as Amir Hayat-ur-Rehman tested positive at his locality, Sokrhi Hassan Khel.

However, no action followed during the last three days and the authorities did not bother to send any medical team to conduct the tests of the family members for the coronavirus.

Due to this administrative callousness, the 150-houses of the area are critically exposed to the spread of the infection.
