Eradication of polio top priority of PTI govt: Firdous

Special Assistant to the Punjab Chief Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that eradication of polio from country is top priority of PTI government for which all possible steps are being taken.
Talking to newsmen in Lahore on Monday, she said that a five-day polio has been launched in the province and effective monitoring is being carried out to cover all areas.
Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that polio drive was affected due coronavirus and as a result 14 cases have been reported during ongoing year.
The Special Assistant to CM said that the media and nation is playing a vital role to create awareness about the national cause of elimination of polio.
