Another member of the Punjab Assembly (MPA) from Bahawalnagar associated with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is now on the radar of the investigation agencies.
The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) has summoned PML-N MPA Chaudhry Muhammad Jamil for investigation. An ACE assistant director has summoned Jamil on February 2 as he is facing charges of occupying state land worth hundreds of thousands of rupees. The ACE assistant director has also summoned the relevant village officer (patwari) in this case along with the record.
Jamil was elected to the Punjab Assembly from the PP-240 (Bahawalnagar-IV) constituency on the PML-N ticket in the 2018 general elections.
