12-year-old succumbs to dog bite wounds in DG Khan

A 12-year-old boy who was brought with the dog bite injuries to the private hospital in Dera Ghazi Khan succumbed to dog-bite wounds on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The victim, Mubashir was shifted to the hospital after a cluster of dogs attacked him in public school.
Footage of a 12-year-old boy being bitten by dogs also surfaced, who was studying in Grade 7.
It is alleged that the injured child was not treated for four hours and died at the hospital.
Talking to the media, the victim’s father Mahmood said that the child was sent to the school at eight in the morning. Mehmood added that he received the news of the incident at 9.30 am on which he reached the hospital.
The victim’s father further told that hospital’s administration only told me about the son being injured.
On this tragic incident, Spokesperson Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Azma Bukhari lashed out at the government and said this is an unfortunate incident. She bashed the CM Punjab and said this is the real performance of Buzdar’s government, something which the Prime Minister Imran Khan could not be able to see.
Further, hammering the government, Azma said that what the dogs were doing in school? She added that who is the real culprit behind the death of the child.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Usman Bazdar is furious over the incident of dog bite of a child in school.
Chief Minister Usman ordered the Deputy Commissioner (DC) to suspend the culprits, behind the incident on the basis of inquiry report.
DC took immediate action and suspended the Chief Officer Municipal Corporation (MC), District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 and Principal Government School.
CM Punjab said that incidents related to dog biting should not be happen again, whether it be Dera Ghazi Khan or some other part of the country.
