Heavy downpour hits Lahore and Balochistan; Karachi experiences hails

Several areas in Lahore witnessed a torrential downpour, while Karachi faced heavy rainfall accompanied by hails and Balochistan also witnessed a heavy rain in 11 districts on Friday.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, after the rain, temprature in Lahore is recorded at 20 degrees Celsius, with nighttime temperatures expected to drop to 15 degrees Celsius.
The ongoing rain spell is predicted to continue with a possibility of 60 to 70 percent rainfall until the early hours on Saturday.
The rain has brought a noticeable drop in temperature, enhancing the winter chill as cool winds accompany the showers.

In Karachi, intense rainfall led to widespread urban flooding. The Meteorological Department had earlier predicted heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and hails in the city.
The Meteorological Department released precipitation figures for various locations in Karachi:
PECHS Faisal (Shahrah Faisal): 14 millimeters
Kemari: 13 millimeters
Nazimabad: 12.5 millimeters
Soldier Bazaar: 12.4 millimeters
Saddar Town: 12 millimeters
Orangi Town: 9.7 millimeters
DHA: 9.5 millimeters
Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Old Airport: 7 millimeters
PECHS Masroor (Martyr's Pool) and Liaquatabad: 7.5 millimeters
Gulshan Hadeed and University Road: 6 millimeters
Jinnah Terminal: 6.4 millimeters
Korangi: 6.3 millimeters
Malir: 6 millimeters
University Road: 5.7 millimeters

In Balochistan, 223 mm of rain has fallen in 11 districts during 24 hours.
The highest rainfall was 53 mm in Kalat, 34 mm in Khuzdar, 30 mm in Sabi, 21 mm in Dalbandin, 20 mm in Turbat, 16 mm in Quetta, 15 mm in Zhob and Barkhan, and Pasni in Gwadar. 12 mm, 8 mm in Mara, 9 mm in Panjgur and 5 mm in Naukandi.
