Around 1,000 Pakistani students are stranded in Hungary since lockdown was imposed after the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.

These students have appealed to the Pakistan government to make arrangements for their return as they are facing great hardships and do not have money to even pay the rent for their accommodation.

Although Pakistan too had suspended the international flight operation like other countries, special flights are being operated to bring back the Pakistani nationals from other parts of the world.

Similarly, the PIA is operating special to repatriate the citizens of other countries from Pakistan.

Meanwhile, countries like the US and the UK have arranged special chartered flights for their nationals stranded in Pakistan.

As far as the Pakistanis stranded in the Gulf States are concerned, the Qatar Airways, Emirates, flydubai and PIA are operating special flight operations for them.

It has so far helped repatriating thousands of Pakistanis from the UAE and Qatar, while flights from Saudi Arabia too started on Friday.
