Govt to deploy FC troops in AJK for security of Chinese and powerhouses

The federal government decided on Wednesday to appoint Frontier Constabulary (FC) to maintain law and order and protect the Chinese residents and hydro powerhouses in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).

According to the 24News HD TV channel, FC will be deployed to ensure foolproof security of Chinese residents and power plants.

The sources said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif allowed the summary to be approved by the federal cabinet.

According to sources, the Azad Kashmir government had requested the appointment of FC to maintain law and order and assist the police.
