Earlier PM Imran Khan visited Hayatabad Medical Complex where he was briefed about the coronavirus situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the steps taken to contain its spread.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar, Minister of State for States and Frontier Regions Shehryar Khan Afridi, Special Assistant to PM on Poverty Alleviation Dr Sania Nishtar, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman and Chief Minister Mahmood Khan.

The hospital administration also briefed the prime minister about the arrangements made for the treatment of coronavirus patients. The prime minister was briefed by Hospital Director HMC Dr Shahzad Akbar Khan and other senior officials regarding various arrangements made for the treatment of coronavirus patients.

The prime minister was given a detailed briefing about different steps taken by HMC for provision of best treatment facilities to patients of coronavirus and isolation centres besides steps taken for prevention of the spread of the pandemic.
