The Meteorological Department has forecast dry weather in most parts of the country, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.

Rain is likely at a few places in Chitral, Dir and Karam, the department said

The federal capital and the KP areas will have dry weather, according to the forecast.

The experts foresaw dry and hot weather during the day in Punjab and Sindh also.

A few places in Khuzdar, Kharan and Qalat are likely to experience light rain with gusty winds and thundershowers while other districts of Balochistan are likely to endure dry and hot weather.

The country remained under the grip of the rainy spell a few days ago. Standing crops were destroyed by rain and hail in Quetta, Harnai and surrounding areas.

Lightning killed 15 cattle in the Dukki district of Balochistan province.
