All captains of cricket teams participating in Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 urged Pakistan people and cricket fans to support the event, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The captains of all teams were addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Thursday.

In this regard, Shaheen Shah Afridi said PSL is completing 10 years and Pakistan Super League is our own event so cooperate fully.

Babar Azam also appealed to the fans that all fans should support PSL. He said we have made our best combination and we are trying to give a good performance.

Muhammad Rizwan said that the Pakistani nation loves cricketers and cricket very much. If we don't give good results, the fans get angry and that's their right. He said whoever wins in this tournament, Pakistan will win.

There is a different pressure in international cricket and a different pressure in local cricket, Muhammad Rizwan said.

Captains such as Shaheen Shah Afridi and Baber Azam expressed their pride in the league and reiterated their support for its continued growth.

Shaheen Afridi emphasized that the league is for everyone, urging fans and players alike to support it wholeheartedly. He also highlighted the introduction of new talents like Haris Rauf, describing him as a prime example of the fresh energy shaping the competition.

Baber Azam stressed that every team is well balanced with a strong combination of seasoned and emerging players, and noted that the successful formula lies in each team's desire to win.

He acknowledged the critical importance of learning from past defeats — citing mistakes made in previous seasons — and assured that improvements in batting and bowling combinations would pave the way to playing finals this season.

Captains from teams like Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultanz also discussed adjustments and strategic changes, emphasizing the pressure that comes with leadership and the constant need for adaptation and growth.

Meanwhile, CEO Salman Naseer marked the 10th anniversary of PSL as a proud milestone. He highlighted the league’s decade-long performance with palpable excitement and assured fans of its promising future. Naseer announced that for the first time ever, matches will feature Urdu commentary, aiming to enhance viewer experience and connect more deeply with fans across the nation.

He also noted the increasing use of modern technology during matches and welcomed constructive criticism as part of the league’s evolution.

Overall, the press conference reflected a confident outlook as PSL enters its tenth season—an event poised to celebrate past achievements, embrace cutting-edge technology, and nurture the next generation of cricketing talent in Pakistan.
