Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and its allies have started weighing various options to launch a protest movement against the government inside and outside Parliament, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai has suggested that PTI members should resign from parliamentary committees.
Additionally, Oppsition parties also review suggestion that PTI will bring a vote of no confidence against the Speaker of the National Assembly.
PTI is set to discuss these options with PTI founder Imran Khan regarding the resignation from committees.
However, Opposition parties were divided over the proposal to resign from committees. Some members have raised concerns that resigning from the committees would leave them with no platform to speak on.
Furthermore, despite the instructions from Imran Khan, PTI led opposition has failed to block parliamentary proceedings which is causing frustration within the PTI leadership.
Moreover, internal discord within PTI highlights the challenges faced by the party in implementing its strategy against the government.
