Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Azma Bukhari on Wednesday said it was unfortunate that while the entire nation was mourning the loss of lives of army officers in a helicopter crash in Balochistan, the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), on the other hand, was running a ‘vilification campaign’ against the Pakistan Army, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore, she alleged that what PTI leader Shahbaz Gill had said on television a few days ago was not only his own, but the entire party’s narrative. “I am sure Gill will vomit it out this to the investigators in a day or two,” Azma claimed.
She hit out at former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan for what she called ‘brainwashing’ children and youth’s minds. “His only agenda is to spread mischief,” she alleged.
PML-N leader said it emphatically that the government was not going to be intimidated by Imran’s brand of politics.
“Imran, why you are afraid when you have done nothing wrong,” she remarked satirically.
Azma said that ousting a government through a vote of no-trust was a constitutional act.
