Mocking at Imran Khan’s claim that he will make ‘Naya Pakistan’ after becoming the country’s prime minister, Opposition Leader in the National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif said on Friday that the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government was continuously increasing the electricity rates, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a statement, he said this was the real face of ‘selected’ prime minister’s Naya Pakistan that he had set out to build. “Instead of providing relief to the people, the government is fleecing them,” he said, adding this was not a government but complete collapse of governance.
He was of the view that only by getting rid of this government could people of the country heave a sigh of relief. “The anger and hatred welling up inside the people is not a good omen for Pakistan,” he opined.
