The demand of dry fruits increased manifold along with its prices. The prices of dry fruits have seen a remarkable hike making it out of the reach of people.
The price of new Chilghoza (pinenut) has reached Rs6,800 per kg, whereas old Chilghoza is being sold at Rs5,600 per kg.
Salted pistachios are being sold at Rs2,800 to Rs3,200.
Parachinar peanut is being sold at Rs700 per kg.
Almonds are being sold at Rs1,800 to Rs2,000 while China walnut is being sold in the market at Rs800 and American walnut is selling at Rs900.
