Whenever the Pakistan Peoples Party came to power, it ensured human rights, former president Asif Ali Zardari said.
In his message on Human Rights Day, Asif Ali Zardari said Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Shaheed guaranteed human rights in the 1973 constitution and Benazir Bhutto Shaheed was a champion of human rights.
He added the leadership and workers of PPP struggled for many decades for human rights. The former president reiterated the resolve to continue support to Kashmiris struggling for their right to self-determination.
Violation of human rights has become normal in Indian-occupied Kashmir, he said, adding that the world should raise its voice against the violation of human rights in Kashmir.
