A counter-terrorism official was martyred when a bomb exploded in Balochistan city of Khuzdar on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to sources in police, the explosive device exploded with a big bang in Sultan Ibrahim Chowk in Khuzdar.
The explosion was aimed at the Counter-Terrorism Department official identified as SHO Murad Bukhsh.
The security forces personnel rushed to the blast site and cordoned off the whole area.
They collected evidence from the spot and later launched a hunt to chase down the culprits.
