Two robbers snatched a cell phone from the driver of a Director General of Customs at gunpoint in broad daylight in Islamabad, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to an FIR registered by Ramna police station, on the evening of December 7th, the driver parked the car in G11/3, accompanied by DG Customs.
While DG Customs was engaged in jogging, two motorcyclists approached the scene.
The report added that one of the motorcyclists, brandishing a pistol, forcibly snatched a phone from the driver, which reportedly belonged to DG Customs.
Ramna Police took swift action, registering a case against the unidentified motorcyclists based on the statement provided by the DG Customs driver.
Efforts are underway to apprehend the suspects involved in this bold act of robbery.
