Punjab interim cabinet on Sunday okayed the appointment of Advocate Farhad Ali Shah as prosecutor general for the province, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

The announcement of Advocate Farhad Ali Shah's posting as the Prosecutor General of Punjab was met with unanimous approval during a meeting of the caretaker cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
